How Your Heart and Body Suffer Through Over Exercising

The physical state of your body and your health can dictate so many things in your life. A healthy body lets you enjoy your life beyond what you thought you can. You can spend more quality time with family and friends instead of resting in your bed or in the hospital.

For some though, they are healthy and are not spending time healing or recuperating in a hospital. But they have little time for family, friends, and other important aspects of their life because their time is mostly spent at the gym or obsessing over exercise. A healthy body is indeed important because how you take care of your body will tell how much you will take care of others as well, but over exercising will not let you achieve this.

If you find yourself spending more than three hours in the gym, then you may be over exercising. People who over exercise and are obsessed with working out will not let others interfere with their workout routine. If you invite such person to an event, they will pass on the invitation without realizing that the time for that occasion is actually more important that spending time in the gym too frequently. If you are also closely monitoring your calories and inches around your waist unreasonably, then it is also a possible sign of over exercising because exercise should be evaluated based on overall results and the quality of your performance.

You will experience more injuries, more muscle cramps, and increased heartbeats when you over exercise. Increased heartbeats in itself is not a great sign of a healthy person, and of all vital organs, the heart should be the one who will truly benefit and not be harmed every time you exercise. If your resting heart rate is higher than before you started working out, then this could be a sign of too much exercise. Constant muscle pain is also a bad sign. Your body needs time to recover between workouts and heal itself.

Your body, your heart specifically, allows you to do so many great things in your love. The heart is known as a symbol for love that is very popular during Valentine’s Day and as heart wedding favors as well. Thus, keeping your heart and your body healthy will make love ever present in your life because your physical status and your emotional status will allow you to accomplish all the things that you want to. Over exercising can put a damper on so many things in your life. So although exercise is a good and healthy habit, be sure to keep your life in balance and look out for signs of over-exertion.
