Chocolates – For Favors As Sweet As Your Wedding

Weddings are made extra special by enhancing the little details. Flowing drapes can make your wedding look regal. Embellishments on chairs can make your reception dreamier. And wedding favors made of chocolate can greatly complement a sweet event.

If you are thinking of giving something that your guests will see as a sweet gesture, then make it sweet – literally. Here are some chocolate wedding favors and ideas that you can use at your wedding.

- Small packs of chocolate sandwich spread – These goodies are available in your local supermarket and come in packs of 12 or more. Packed similar to Smuckers jams, you can put at least 2 pieces in a small bag or an organza bag, or tie the pieces together using a ribbon or lace, place mini cards and these spreads will indeed spread joy to everyone.

- Chocolate brownies or cookies – It will be like Christmas all over again. Use homemade cookies to get special taste. Put them in small tin cans, or plastic wraps, or cardboard boxes. This is truly a fitting ending to a sweet event.

- Chocolate coated almonds – You can never go wrong by combining two of the most favorite snacks available. You can purchase them in your local grocery as well and then repack them in smaller quantities. They are best presented using cardboard boxes in special design like a pyramid box.

- Chocolate cupcakes – This is a sweet treat everyone will truly enjoy. During the reception, you can arrange them in separate tables and use them similar to that of satellite cakes. Most people choose not place them as centerpieces because they might disappear as early as the appetizers do.

- Mini chocolate bars – A classic give-away, mini-chocolate bars are both inexpensive and readily available. Do not buy the ones though at the grocery – mini Snickers or Baby Ruth’s wouldn’t work. Instead, go to your local chocolate or bakery shop and buy ones that are not commercially labeled. This way, you can wrap them individually or several pieces together and make them look homemade and created especially for your wedding. The effort will truly be appreciated compared to just getting some off the grocery shelves.

Add a chocolate fountain in your reception for a total chocolate indulgence. Place cut fruits, marshmallow, or cookies around it. You can never have too much chocolate. Whether in the dishes served, desserts, or wedding favors, chocolates can fill your wedding with decadence. It will easily be consumed unlike other favors, but it is the thought of giving something away to satisfy the palate that will create a lasting memory to your guests. Add to that a sweet message on the hang tag or mini card, and you are sure to get smiles from them long after your wedding.
