Classic Ways on How to Give Out Wedding Favors

Wedding favors are special because they are the symbol of gratitude of the couple to their guests. Apart from the thank you notes sent after the wedding, wedding favors are given immediately after the wedding. They can be edible favors, practical favors, or a personalized favor.

Unlike thank you notes, there are different ways on how you can hand the wedding favors to your guests.
Listed below are some ideas you can use in your wedding as an artistic, creative, or personal way of thanking them for their presence and wishes during your special day.

- You can use wedding favors as centerpiece. Arrange them beautifully on the center of the table, whether directly on the table top or an elevated platform. Add some fresh flowers or ribbons and the centerpiece and wedding favors in one are all set.

- As guests exit, you can also hand the favors personally to the guests. Have a table next to you (and someone to replenish the favors on the table), and hand it to them as they leave. Since guests normally leave at about the same time (and only a few linger around), dedicate time where you can thank them as they leave the reception area and you get to hand it to them as well.

- Per table, you can use the favors as place settings as well. Since you have identified the table arrangement and assigned the guests per table, you would know where to place the favor for each guest.

- For cute and lovely assistance (in every sense of the word), have a decorated basket, fill it with favors, and have your flower girl go around and hand it to guests. This will be a truly special treat as the guests receive their favor from a lovely little girl. Have caution though or have someone assist her particularly if you are giving fragile glass or crystal favors.

- You can also use wedding favors as decorations. Have a separate table and arrange them nicely on top. Make sure your venue has enough space to accommodate one table while preventing the favors on top from falling especially if you have crystal wedding favors.

No matter which style or approach you use, make sure that you have the materials (basket, extra table, extra space at the venue, etc.) and the time to make the process as smooth as possible. Ensure you have enough favors and make sure that everyone you intended to receive one will get one.

Even if you have the perfect wedding favor, how you present it can make it more special, dramatic, and appreciated. Your wedding will be complete, from start to finish, with lovely wedding favors your guests will appreciate.
